Disable spotify autoplay when connected to Bluetooth in Audi Q3

My Question or Issue

Is there a way to stop automatically playing songs on Spotify, when starting the car, or initial auto connect to bluetooth in Q3?

When the bluetooth auto connects in car, it automatically runs and starts playing songs on spotify in iphone 13.

I have already disabled autoplay in playback settings of spotify and car mode is also switched off in spotify !!

Thanks for the post.

This functionality is controlled by your phone's OS system and how it connects to the BT device itself. It's not something that can be manually switched off from the Spotify app itself.

I'd suggest you check out the video posted by @nevsky in this thread. There you can see how to create an exception for your iPhone, so it pauses music when you connect to your car.
