Downloaded songs keep redownloading when open app

My Question or Issue

Every time I opened the app, dozens of my downloaded songs keep redownloading. I don’t have any saved playlist and have turned off the cellular download. It’s a huge disappointment and frustration on user experience

I have the exact same problem too, it’s really annoying because it keeps taking up my data as well when I’m out without me noticing. I’ve had to turn data downloads off as it takes so much data downloading songs constantly. 😞 hope there’s a solution !

Exact same issue for me. Only happened once I updated.

It happened to me a while ago, every time I open the app, some songs get redownloaded (usually less than 20), so it doesn’t really bother me. But few days before this post, the number of songs redownloaded are more than 60 or 100

I have over 100 songs download everytime... last week 300....

This is happening to me as well — usually between 50 and 60 songs, in 6 or 7 different playlists. I use Spotify for work, so glitches are really troublesome.
