My Question or Issue

Play some music in the iPhone Spotify app.

Go to Settings->Playback->Equalizer and modify the chart to massively increase the base and reduce the treble (so that you can definitely hear the difference).

Now close the up (double tap home button and swipe app to close it)

Music stops playing.

Re-launch Spotify app and play some music again.

You can hear the equalizer is not active.

However if you go to Settings->Playback->Equalizer, you can see the equalizer button is enabled.

So this is clearly a bug and the workaround is to disable then enable the Equalizer button under the chart.

Same for me.... IPhone XS, latest IOS version. The EQ is not active even though it is enabled in the settings menu. If I "close" swipe up the Spotify App on the next launch the EQ is not active but it shows enabled under settings. I've rebooted the phone with the same results. The issue can be reproduced.
