Facebook and Spotify Account Link

I am trying to link my Spotify and Facebook accounts together on my iPad mini, but when I try to connect them from either the Spotify app, or being signed in to both accounts on the safari web browser via multiple tabs, they just go back and forth with no link being made. I just was given an error when jumped from Spotify to Facebook saying the link failed with an option to retry. All attempts to retry have not worked. Any solutions?

Try linking them from a computer with the browser-based login on OS or Windows and then going to the device. See if that works.

Can you try linking your Facebook account by going to the account page in a browser?

There should be an option listed to connect Facebook

That still will not work. Would you recommend I just start a new account and sign up with facebook seeing as I have only paid $1 for premium so far?

Yeah I click on the link, the page refreshes, but nothing happens.
