My Question or Issue

I want the ability to play Spotify across all my devices in my home all at once or by selecting each as a checkbox. I have devices from multiple manufacturers, Google/Amazon, and unfortunately, I can't find a way to get the "Everywhere" to play everywhere. It only allows me to play it on my Alexa devices, but I'd love for Spotify to select multiple devices from the list and play my music throughout my house on my TVs, Speakers, PC, etc. This might already be a feature, but I couldn't find a way to get it working, but if you know a way, please share 🥺

Hey @MalWhere

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

In this case, we'd like to add some insights. Keep in mind that even if you can open your account on all the devices you want, you can only listen to music on one at a time. This is the way that Spotify works and using the Connect feature, you can sync all the devices on which you have opened your account, but the playback will only be on just one device at the time.

Another user had a similar request, so they posted this idea about it. Even though the status is set as Case Closed as there are no immediate plans to implement this, it doesn't mean the idea has been rejected. We’d suggest adding your vote in the thumbs up icon and subscribing to it to get notified as soon as we have any updates to share.

It's important to mention that even if we really think this is a good suggestion, it isn't currently on our timeline due to its complexity. As a result, we'd like to be clear: this won't be implemented in the near future, and that's also why the status of the idea is set as closed for now.

Lastly, we'd like to add that some external services provide multiple device playback, e.g. Sonos. So that they play the same content simultaneously, you can group two or more Sonos speakers together. You can learn how to group rooms, ungroup rooms, and alter the volume of specific products in a group by reading this article. Nevertheless, keep in mind this is a feature offer by others, not directly by Spotify.

Hope this clears things up. If you have any questions or need anything else, the Community is here for you.
