Help Please with Ford Sync

I'm having trouble getting Spotify to play through Ford Sync with my Iphone 4S. I can get it to stream the current song/playlist just through blue tooth but it doesn't seem to be using the applink for full control.

I'll admit I'm having a few troubles with Ford Sync so if any one can give some advice it would be appreciated.
