High CPU usage on iPad Air 2020

My Question or Issue

Spotify highly load CPU of my iPad even when it is playing music in background. I profiled it and saw problem, but stack-trace doesn't contain readable function names because it's production build from AppStore. Please fix this issue or contact me to profile on my device.

Hmm, I'm not able to replicate this one on my end. Could you try a fresh reinstall of the Spotify app with these steps: https://support.spotify.com/article/reinstallation-of-spotify/? That might help refresh some things backstage. Let me know how you get on!

Thanks for the reply.

Can you let us know if this started happening after a certain app or OS update? 

You can try turning on Low Power Mode and see if that lowers the CPU usage.
