How does Spotify expect me to know what is playing?

Since Spotify decided to mess with the app, on the iPhone, I now have no idea what Radio is ever playing. 

How can they continue to mess things up so badly? Every change is consistently for the worse. This is extremely frustrating.

Now it just says "Album radio based on". What does this even mean?!

Thanks for reaching out.

We've tested this on our end, however, we couldn't reproduce the issue and the Radio based on message displayed correctly. Can you please let us know if this happens when you manually start a radio using the context menu or when the Autoplay feature kicks in after an album or a playlist is finished?

this is always when it automatically kicks in after i've listened to an album.

it's happened very often - and i have no idea what radio i am listening to. sometimes it will say "Radio based on (blank)" but most of the time it just says "Recommended songs" which is even more vague.

this behaviour has only started happening recently since spotify messed with the iphone app's layout, by moving the currently playing artist+title to the top of the artwork.

using the latest spotify iphone app, on iOS 16.2

it is up to date, as is my iOS.

always problems with your iphone app, it's quite ridiculous tbh.

Any word on when this will be fixed and go back to how it was?
I am baffled that Spotify keeps removing basic features and leaves them in limbo like this.
How are we supposed to know what album radio is actually playing if it just says "Album radio based on" ??
