I can’t add a song to the playlist

I can’t add a song to the playlist

I can’t add a song to the playlist while it’s playing in my car through bluetooth from my iphone. I tried to reinstall the app, but yhe only thing that works it’s to turn off the stereo and restart the app, and that’s been really long time, I think almost a year, when spotify added a car view. That’s really annoying. Also I wrote to Spotify in ~2012 about equalizer, that is so shamefully simple, and there’s no option to save it, I’m not even talking about an option of auto recall of preset when specific device is connected. Common guys it’s 2022. Somebody made clone app(spoteq) with a small budget just because they lost hope that it would happen this decade.

Can you confirm that you followed the steps provided in this article for the reinstall? It is important to thoroughly uninstall the app from your phone and doing it in the correct way is crucial, simply because cache can lead to different issues and mess up app's performance. If that doesn't help, can you send us a screenshot of the error message you're getting when trying to add a song?

 

Also, does this happen with another Bluetooth device as well? Would you mind testing that for us? 

 

Also, when it comes to the equalizer, could you give a bit more info about the behavior you're experiencing?
