I don't get notifications from Spotify.

If you open the app, go to Settings -> Notifications it says that, if you switch some options on, you'll get notifications when an artist you follow adds new music, when a playlist you follow is updated and more.

I have all of those options switched on, yet I've never gotten any notifications from the app. I've also checked the system settings, and notifications for Spotify are switched on, so I don't know why it might be that I'm not getting any.

If anyone knows of a possible solution, please help. Thanks in advance!

We're currently looking into an issue with push notifications not being sent. In the meantime, we'd recommend opting into email notifications over at https://www.spotify.com/account/notifications/.

If you could also send us a screenshot of how the toggles look in your Notifications menu in the Settings, that'd be useful to see.

I have been having this same issue.  Absolutely no notifications have been coming through for new posts from artists I follow, no playlist update notifications, no recommended music, nothing.
