My Question or Issue

Album photos and text become too big when sharing songs on Instagram stories. Clearing and reinstalling Instagram or Spotify does not change. But when I saw other people's Instagram stories, it was normal. It happened two weeks ago and has continued to this day. I want to fix it. What should I do?

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community.

From the look of the screenshots the cover image and title look alright. They're not clipping or unreadable.

Can you try this with the same song as in the first screenshot 'Sharpest Edges' and see if it looks different. To be honest, this might be a design change in order for the title to be more readable.

My Question or Issue

Whenever I want to share a song on my Instagram Story, it appears with a big font. I don't think it's an Instagram issue though because the big font appears on the Spotify share screen itself (the one that gives you the options on where to share the song etc.)

Yes, I have reinstalled both Instagram and Spotify, I've cleared cache files, I've rebooted my device and all that jazz that everyone should know about.

Now if the case of a "bug" is not true and it's actually just a new design choice, which I doubt, I'm just gonna throw out the opinion that it really doesn't look good with this font size.

Does this occur with a specific track or with all tracks in general? Could you share a few screenshots which show how things look like on your end, just like @phoubesss did? One of the Spotify Share Screen and one of the Story itself would be awesome.

i have the same issue. its a kind of an update i guess. but i dont like the way it developed. my song stories doesnt look as good as they used to be.

I agree, I hate how it looks now and I sat in a conversation with a spotify agent for over an hour and nothing solved it.

The search bar says an error occured and nothing I've done has helped. I'm done and I'm taking my money elsewhere. I didn't want to use YouTube Music or Apple music, but Spotify literally forced me to with their horrible app Instagram guide.

Have you checked if your phone's operating system and Instagram app are up to date? Sometimes, outdated software can cause display issues. Adjust the display settings on your phone or check for any specific settings within the Instagram app related to story display.
