Ipad air + iphone 5 + macbook pro (mavericks) does not connect with connect

Ive had this issue for a while now, but some time ago, one day connect stopped working. none of my devices is able to find each other. I've tried to fix the error by suggestions from here, but no fix to the problem. Has anyone had similar problems? 

Edit: As I played random songs simultaniously with all the devices, iphone noticed that other devices are in use and stopped playing, so there is definitely somekind of awereness of other devices, but still nothing in connect bar.
