Ipad wont keep spotify playing

Good day. As the title says, spotify doesnt keep playing.

Whenever i play spotify and switch to other apps, it stops playing after 20-30 secs. After that, it wont play anymore. Even clicking play button, it will just have 2 secs then it will stop again

I tried redownloading it or even keep spotify app on screen but it still stops playing after 2-3 secs.

My ipad ios is up-todate. Also using IPAD 2 (the heavy and fat version)

I am also using spotify with my android phone and it doesnt have these kind of problem.

any idea to fix this? Please help

@huib thank you for  your reply. I already tried all of it however none of it work. 

Whenever i play spotify and switch to chrome, it stops playing. Do you have any other solution for this?

I forgot to get the spotify ver because iquickly reinstall it. The new ver is 8.4.9.721

my ios 10.3.3

i am currently trying it  out. And it is working fine right now. Thank you for helping! I hope it stays working. Previously, i tried reinstalling spotify and restarting the ipad but it didnt work. 

Right now, everything is working fine and hope it stays like this.
