Issues with Spotify

Issues with Spotify

Recently the sound keeps going out from the app on my iPhone when I’m listening on my portable Bluetooth speaker. It’s not my speaker because it works fine with YouTube. I’ll be listening to a song and it stops having sound and it shows that it’s playing on the app. It’s pretty annoying! I’ve had Spotify premium for over a decade so this issue needs to be fixed!

Thanks for your post and welcome to the Community!

We' get that you are experiencing issues with the connectivity between Spotify and your Bluetooth speaker. Could you give us a bit more info on your setup so we can give you a better advice. Like for example: What make and model are your mobile device and your Bluetooth speaker?  What is the current version of Spotify, that you are having on?  

 

On the other hand, have you tried some troubleshooting steps already and what? And in the meantime, we can suggest you to test and log your account to another device to see if the connectivity issues with Bluetooth occur for it as well. We're asking this to rule out the possibility of this issue to be related to your personal account or it is device related.
