Like Icon is missing

My Question or Issue

My like icon is missing and when I swipe left on a song, I get the "Add to playlist" promt instead of it adding the song to "liked songs."

I've tried clean reinstall and the like icon still didnt come back. I have spotify on a laptop and I can see my like icons there. But not on my phone. Both my phone and spotify is in its latest update.

So it seems that the like button has been removed completely from the platform and replaced with a new button with the ‘Plus’ (+) symbol which will allow you to save content to the Library or add it to a playlist. It also removed the heart icon next to songs on mobile. Looks like desktop still has them enabled like you stated. Hoping to see them back it in the next update.

Oh so it was an update... That is a very stupid idea. I wish the worst for the person who submitted that idea and the person who approved of it. Anyway, thanks for the reply. Have a good one!

I have the same issue on my iPhone app. However, if I log out & then log back in, the “like/heart” re-appears, but only until I close the app the next time. Every single time I open it new they are gone, until I log out & log back in, then they return, but then disappear the next time I open it. My guess is it’s a bug in the latest update, hoping it’s fixed soon.
