My Question or Issue

The pitch on all my music between these three devices is all in a lower pitch. It has made listening to music on Spotify impossible. I cannot get over the difference in pitch. It does not matter if the song is in a playlist or not.

For the iPhone, I logged out of the app, restarted the phone, and relogged into it with no success. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it with no avail. The pitch will be off if the music is directly through the iPhone, earbuds (Apple Airpods and Status 3ANC), or a vehicle (2019 Mini Cooper, 2018 Toyota Yaris). The equalizer has been on the "rock" setting for six months with no prior issues.

This pitch issue was also noticed on my mother's account when it was connected to her vehicle. It was not as consistent as my issue is so I assumed it was just the car.

For the Samsung, I logged out and logged back in with no success.

For the Inspiron, I redownloaded the app as I was using the browser and that was unsuccessful as well.

This was not a prior issue until today and it feels that no matter what I do, I cannot get the music back into normal pitch. It's even more shocking that this is across all my devices too. I hope there is more I can troubleshoot as I love using Spotify and has my music taste perfect on my discover weekly.

Hey there @GigglesTunes,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community.

We understand you've noticed a similar issue with your mother's account, but just to confirm, have you noticed the exact same behavior on your devices if you log in to someone else's account? Could be a family member's, a friend's or you can create a new account for testing purposes.

If so, would you mind sending over a video where we can take a better look at the situation? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor or upload it to Google Drive and send us a link with the relevant permissions.

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.
