Music keeps stopping whenever I open Instagram

This has just started happening a few days ago:
Every time I open Instagram, to post or even just to view anything - Spotify keeps cutting out and I have to keep going into the app to press play to get the song started again.

What's going on?? I am on the latest apps for both.

When other apps seem to be affecting the proper behavior of the app, it could be related to some damaged cache stored on your device. In this case, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. i cannot afford to risk losing anything.

You shouldn’t lose any saves playlists but you will lose any downloaded tracks.
