My saved music library disappearing

My saved music library disappearing

Today I noticed all of my saved music was erases, thankfully I also keep it in playlists, for different genres too, so I decided to re-save all 1454 songs again, I'd did it. So today I was listening to one of my playlists that compiles stuff from the others, and noticed that the songs I saved earlier were erased from my saved music . I don't know what to do you guys and if this continues I'll probably move on from Spotify 😞

Hi Pancaketunes, welcome to the Community! I think we have a mystery on our hands and it's time for some old school detective work. You have a LOT of songs and I can understand why this can be so frustrating. It might be someone's pulling your leg and they've got in to your account. The simple fix to this is to go to https://www.spotify.com/uk/account/overview/ and hit "Sign out everywhere", just in case, reset your password too and hit that "Sign out everywhere" button again - just as a precaution.

Give it some time, and if that is still not fixing the problem, please contact Spotify Support at http://support.spotify.com/contact-spotify-support/. The reason I'm referring you to them is because the saved music library is universal over all of your devices, so I wouldn't be able to pin-point your missing music to a dodgy app, because it means there is an issue with your account. If you like to compress your concerns, you can always send a tweet to @SpotifyCares on Twitter. They're always super helpful. 🙂

Hopefully, we should've now solved the mysterious case of the missing music, but if we haven't, please get back in touch and someone will be able to help. While you're waiting for Sherlock at Spotify to get this sorted for you, check out the other forums here on the community! You can chat about music, have an off-topic chinwag or help others if you're feeling technical. I look forward to seeing you on the forums, and if anything doesn't go to plan, drop me a line and I'll dig out my detective hat again. Good luck.

Starting out but ready to make a difference 🙂
