Need help on syncing local files to phone

I've done this multiple times before, even in the last month. Spotify seems to not even know how horribly broken this feature is. I've downloaded a song 4 times and added it to 2 different sources trying to get it into my local files on my phone but Spotify just doesn't want that to happen. The song shows up everywhere I put it on my PC, but nowhere on my phone. It's all conencted on the same internet and I'm in the right playlist. I'd like to know that other people are experiencing something similar and I'm not just going crazy.

No worries, other users have experienced the same issue.

Could you try reinstalling the app on both devices and following these steps?  Also, make sure the app is open and active on both devices while they're connected to the same WiFi.

Having the same issue and I tried these steps however it still doesn't work. I was able to do this about a month ago.
