New Phone - Songs Missing

New Phone - Songs Missing

I just swtched phones (both iPhones), and now ~70% of my saved music is gone. Playlists are still there, but many artists now only have 1-2 saved songs when I had full albums. I may have been close to the 10,000 song limit before, but now I'm nowhere near it. Anyone know what may have happened? Spotify is the only thing I care about transferring to my new phone other than contacts, and I'd be really sad if so many of my songs unsaved.

Hey @robbie_dutch, help's here!

 

Have you noticed any change to your type of subscription, or is it just the contents of Your Library that appears to have changed?

 

Do the changes appear on any other devices, like a tablet or desktop? Or is it just the new phone?

 

It might be worth double-checking what account you're logged into, as you might have a second account that you've accidentally logged into.

 

To check which account you're in, go to Your Library and click the icon in the top left-hand corner on your mobile. If you don't recognise the username / profile image, or it's an old account which you haven't logged into for years, that could be it.

 

If it's definitely the right account, not to worry! You can contact us directly via email, or by tweeting our support handle. We'll be able to help you out further and take a look under the hood; we should be able to retrieve any lost music.
