New version 1.0.0.3251 on IPhone 3 a disaster

I updated from the previous white background Spotify on my IPhone to the new black background one. It is now virtually unusable slow, with the album artwork only appearing when the present track has been playing for 30 seconds or more. User commands are also very slow to respond. Spotify, please fix this.

I have the iPhone 4s and the 1.0.0.3251 update is a complete disaster. There are very long lags and the program crashes all the time. I have since been listening to Pandora because I can't handle the horrible interface and inability to control my music. I forgot that Pandora is great! If a fix is not instituted within a few days, bye bye forever Spotify. Get your house in order. I pay for this and am not happy.

I agree.  I've had my iPhone 3 crash back to home screen at least once a day when I've tried to do something like select a playlist.  One one occasion Spotify crashed my phone back to the White Apple in the Black Void reset page.    The slowness issues on iPhone issues would have been spotted immediately by a QA check, leaving one to wonder whether Spotify actually has any QA process on their updates.  I am European engineering support manager for a well known  audio company, and although we do have issues slip through cracks in the QA testing, this is not a crack - it's a great chasm.  Spotify, please fix this. Now would be good.

Moving this over into the iOS section. There have been a lot of complaints about this version so hopefully a fix will come soon!

Version 1.1.0.2549 fixes the bugs - thanks, Spotify!

I'm pleased to say that the above version on iPhone fixes the problems I reported in my earlier posts. Thank you Spotify for fixing this problem.

There is still the problem that when the Spotify app is launched from the home screen after a period of not being used, the user is  kept waiting for an unreasonable length of time while Spotify does its 'three white dots'  dance before it decides it is eventually is available for use.  This has been so for quite a few versions, but I can't say whether it's a Spotify issue or an iOS issue.
