No artworks for offline albums/songs

Hello,

it's been a few spotify updates now and I sill can't get the artworks to show for songs downloaded for offline listening.

I can't pinpoint the exact date when it stopped working but artworks were properly showing when I first subscribed to a premium account back in 2014.

This is really starting to annoy me; am I the only one experiencing this problem?

Is the spotify team aware of the issue and working on this? 

(I am currently running spotify 3.8.0 on an iPhone 6 under ios 8.4.1)

I'm running 4.0.0.919 and don't have any artwork when offline also?

4.1 somewhat fixed the bug for me, but not fully.

The developers are still looking into this bug. Hopefully a full fix will be coming soon. I'll keep you updated.

Yes, I noticed this morning that the album list was displaying the tiny artworks properly for offline albums.
But the album page and the now playing view still don't work.

I feel like the 4.2 update helped this a fair amount. It's difficult to say exactly what's better, but it seems like the app is now remembering artwork from albums I've played when I had a network connection and it could find the artwork online - a few weeks ago it felt like it wasn't remembering any of the artwork at all and re-downloading it every time a track was played (with a network , meaning that there was no large artwork at all when offline. 

I think it might be saving artwork when making albums available offline better now too as I switched some offline last night that I hadn't played before and the artwork is appearing when I don't have a network connection. 

Hope that's helpful - is anyone else seeing this?

@ashleyc I tried what you suggested with the 4.2 update but I didn't notice any improvement.

Same thing with this week 4.3 version.

Bug not fixed in spotify version 4.4.0.

Still no large album artworks in 4.5.0

The problem still happens in spotify 4.7.0.
