No songs playing

No songs playing

EVERY song I click on the app (iPhone 5s iOS8) just says it's unable to play. This is on a wifi network. Whatever I tap to play I get a message saying "unable to play song" and then a second dialogue box which says "shuffle music for free, you can shuffle any playlist or artist" which when I tap "start listening" just plays something with no relation to anything. 

 

Pretty annoyed as I only paid for premium to be able to fully utilise the app.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing some issues with the Spotify app for iOS. It sounds like you're signed into an account that currently does not have an active Spotify Premium subscription. You may have accidentlly created a second account when you signed in or the app just needs to pull the new data containing your active subscription.

 

Try signing out and signing in with the account you know you have paid for a subscription with. If that doesn't work, please try a clean re-installation of the application and signing in once again.

I am having the same issue with no music playing on iOS 7. Just started but the app has been very buggy since you've updated it. I am a premium subscriber and have downloaded playlists, so it's not the connectivity. It shows all my music and shows the downloaded songs but won't play anything. I really don't want to re-install the app as I have a lot of sync issues too with this version of your app. Very frustrating 😞
