No sound when connected to HondaLink via bluetooth or usb since upgrading to ios9

No sound when connected to HondaLink via bluetooth or usb since upgrading to ios9

Since I upgraded to ios9 on my iphone 6 I am not longer able to hear any of my playlists when my iphone is connected to my car stereo via the hondalink system (either via bluetooth or through the usb cable)

 

The car stereo display shows the song currently playing and I can foward, pause, all of that but no sound.

 

Things I have tried

 

1. In iphone I disconnected from the hondalink bluetooth and told it to forget this device

2. I unpaired my iphone from the bluetooth settings on my car stereo

3. I uninstalled the spotify app and reinstalled

4. Verified audio is playing fine from spotify app on iphone

5. Paired iphone back to hondalink

 

Same results..

Really driving me nuts as I listen to spotify 99% of the time I am in the car

 

iphone 6 running ios9.0

spotify app v. 4.0.0.919

Did you find a solution? It was working fine in my car and then just stopped working!

Same exact thing happened to me as well. I have a Honda Civic. Driving me nuts too.

Did anyone resolve this?
