Non-Existant “Now playing”

Whenever I go to the list of what’s next, the song that is “now playing” is just an empty space; also, the last song in my queue is that empty space. I know there are songs in those two spots however I cannot click on them (see attachment). This has been a problem for me for about a month now. I thought spotify would have fixed this by now. I’m all up to date with iOS and spotify as of the new year.
