Playing music pauses every minute

Playing music pauses every minute

I start playing music on my phone and it pauses after a few seconds. I've restarted my phone, redownloaded the app, cleared my cache, and used the Spotify desktop app and the problem still doesn't seem to go away. I can play music from any playlist and whichever song is playing pauses without a disclaimer. I then have to press play again and again every time. It makes the app pretty unusable.

I'm having the same issue on my Alexa!

Hey folks!

In the past, a similar behaviour has been observed when for example a third party app was getting in the way of the playback.
You can see how to address such an issue by viewing this thread.

In case this doesn't fix the issue for you, we'd like to know if this happens regardless of the playback device.
As a starting troubleshooting step you can also try removing the cached data to see if that would make a difference.

Keep us posted!

I'm having the same issue on my Alexa!

Hey there @PabloSaldierna,

Thanks for reaching out!

There's currently an issue with playback on Echo devices, which is similar to what's previously been described in this thread. Feel free to have a look at this page for more details, should it be what you're experiencing as well. Our tech folks are on it and fix is gradually being rolled out.

Should you experience another issue, however, it would be great if you could send us some more info on what's happening from your end. For example, are you seeing any specific error message and does it happen when connected to a certain device.

Cheers!
