Playlists/Songs deleted after update

Playlists/Songs deleted after update

Just updated my Spotify App on my iPhone 5 and about 2000 songs are suddenly unavailable to play.  What is this all about?  These are all songs that were working fine prior to the update, and continue to work on my laptop.  Attached a screen shot of one playlist to show you what I mean.  Tried deleting and reinstalling app, tried re-syncing from laptop, nothing works.  Any way to revert back to the old app?

Just redownloaded iOs 4 version and it needs to re-sync all 4,000 songs.  This is absurd.  Please tell me there is a fix for the most up-to-date version.
