Playlists missing & premium account not recognised

Playlists missing & premium account not recognised

I can access my Spotify from my Macbook and ipad, but my iphone has absolutely NO playlists showing now. They were all there this morning, I turned my phone off for a meeting, now it is showing me as being on a Free account with none of my playlsits or anythign showing...

I've had that happen before when i accidentally logged into another account. If your logging in via facebook, make sure you are signed into the correct facebook account in safari before trying to login to spotify. If you have verified the account is correct then it could be a device caching thing and you can try the following:

 

Cold Reset of the app:


1) Double-click on the Home button of the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, this brings up the multitasking app switcher screen.
2) Tap and hold on an app preview card for spotify and swipe up until it pushes off the top of the screen to quit.
3) Relaunch Spotify

 

Remove and Reinstall:

1) Press the home button to return to main screen

2) Locate the spotify app

3) Press and hold till it begins to wiggle

4) Tap the X to remove it

5) Open App Store and re-download.
