Poor audio on podcasts

Device:  iPhone 13 Pro

Operating System:  iOS 16.3.1

My Question or Issue:

The audio quality on podcasts is poor. Each episode skips around, either 5 seconds forward or 5 seconds back. Sometimes the sound comes out distorted and choppy as it skips. I noticed this issue while trying two different Bluetooth headphone sets (Bose & Sony headphones).

Thanks for posting in the Community.

Does this occur only when using the Bluetooth headphones or without headphones as well? Could you check the Bluetooth settings of your device and try changing something there?

Does the same happen when using a Bluetooth speaker or a different mobile device?
