Saving music to an android phone

I download my music and it says it is saved. But when I check my device storage and my sim card...they are not there??? I have it set up to go to my sim card??? Any ideas???

Had this same problem with one of my older Android phones (the Firefly Mobile Vision 5X, a horrible rebranded phone from China I bought here in the Philippines). I'm still not entirely sure if it were something wrong with Spotify or something wrong with my phone. Although inconclusive, I encountered this issue only with that phone. No trouble with downloaded music on my current phone (the Cloudfone Next, a wonderfully-crafted mbile phone manufactured here in the Philippines) and the other phones I used to use (the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 and the Acer Liquid Z3). 

Hope this helps! It'd be nice and helpful if you told us what phone you're using right now, tho. 😄
