Shuffle disables when connecting to Ford SYNC

My Question or Issue

I do delivery gig work, so my car is being shut off frequently (2016 Ford Fusion) and every time my phone connects to car blue tooth, Spotify turns off shuffle. This does NOT happen when connected to earbuds or a BT > FM adapter. This is a minor inconvenience, but having to go into the app and enable shuffle every time I connect to my car is frustrating, especially when I'm driving.

Could you let us know what troubleshooting you've tried so far? That way we can avoid repeating the steps.

If possible, try connecting a different mobile device (a friend's or a relative's phone for example) to see if the shuffle would be turned off.

A short video which shows this issue in action would also be much appreciated.
