Shuffle not toggled on but album is still shuffling sons iphone 8

Song playing from album, shuffle is NOT selected, when first song ends app plays another random song instead of the NEXT song on the album.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

Could you also make sure that Next In Queue is empty?

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

Thanks for getting back to me. After reading other support articles I removed and reinstalled Spotify and that seems to have fixed it. Will respond if the problem persists. Now I know and a go forward how to troubleshoot this and what to look for. Thank you
