Some songs in mobile won't play

Description

I updated my account to Spotify premium from unlimited and now some of the songs in my playlist won't play on or offline. I tried going to the artist page to see if it was a problem with my playlist and they still wouldn't play. The play bar is gray and I can't move it. It says it's playing, but the bar isn't moving to indicate the time running and there's no sound.

A more detailed description, using numbered steps

1. I tried to play music from my ipad offline on spotify premium

2. It didn't play, so I tried playing it while online

3. I still didn't work, so I tried deleting and reinstalling the app

4. It still didn't work, so I tried finding the artist page for the individual songs and the songs would not play

What I expected to happen

I expected the songs to play.

What actually happened

They did not play.

Do you have any screenshots you can attach to more clearly explain your issue?

Hi, and welcome to the community!

It may have been a corrupt sync.

Have you tried resyncing them and/or a quick Clean reinstallation of Spotify? Might get it working again.

It's not a problem with syncing. It doesn't work online or offline, and I already tried to reinstall it, as I said in my description. Once I try to download it to my ipad, they simply won't play anymore.

This exact problem is happening to me as well!!! Songs can play on my desktop but not on my iPad pro or iPhone! Finally someone that has the same issue!!

I have searched long and wide across these forums and still have not found an answer....

Sorry, I know this doesn't help but just so you know you're not the only one!
