Something's wrong with my song library

Something's wrong with my song library

I haven't really seen this problem anywhere else, and most of the time it fixes itself, but everytime I update Spotify, my library doesn't work correctly. I'll tap on a song from any artist, and it will play a completely different song from a different artist. I don't have premium, but that hasn't really been a problem until now. This annoyance usually lasts a day after I update the app, but so far it's been 4 and it's starting to get old

Hey @Natethegreat23

The free version works differently in the mobile app than it does on the desktop app.

If you do not have premium, on mobile, you get ad-supported, shuffle-only access on compatible devices. This means:

  • You can’t stream specific songs on demand, and you’re only able to skip a track 6 times per hour.
  • Sometimes you'll hear a mix of similar tracks from other artists to what you're playing.

Just head to any playlist, album, or artist page and press SHUFFLE PLAY. Your music will begin playing right away.
