Song info on locked screen frozen

My Question or Issue

For a few weeks now the song info on locked screen has been showing the same song and time for that song, exactly like in the attached screenshot, when I’m listening to something completely else. The app is fine and shows the right song when iPhone is unlocked.

I have tried to close/open the app, even deleted the app from my phone and downloading it again and the problem is still there. (Or should I say here, right in my hands.)

Any help to fix this will be much appreciated.

Update: the normal iPhone screenshot is not accepted as an attachment file, but I think you understand the problem 

Update 2: the time slider can be used but it doesn’t move forward when playing, volume slider works and I can even play next or previous song. But the play/pause button is only a play button now and the picture is still that same song I listened to two weeks ago.
