Every time when i start listening to music, next song is Mac Millers “Object in the Mirror”.  On repeat!

Every time when i start listening to music, next song is Mac Millers “Object in the Mirror”.  On repeat!

Hi!

 

Clearing the queue, helped for a few hours and then it re-filled with the same song.  Logging out of all devices has seemed to fix the problem thankfully.

 

As far as I know there wasn't a notable event that triggered this.

THE SAME PHENOMENON OCCURS WHEN PLAYING IN A WEB BROWSER OR APP. No matter which song you play, the second song will always play the fixed song, and that song will loop throughout the transition. Even if I change the playback terminal, the same phenomenon is repeated and I am in trouble. Is there a way to get rid of it?

That's odd. I'd recommend checking the Queue on your device to see if the song appears there, and clearing it with the Clear queue button - that should do the trick!

 

In case the issue persists, please share a short screen recording which captures the app's behavior in action so we can investigate further.

I'm having the same issue.  The queue always fills up with "Mrs. Hollywood" even though I've never searched this song.  I empty the queue and within a day it fills up with 80+ copies of this song.  Please let me know how to fix this.

Just to confirm, have you already try  by clearing the queue as suggested by @Yordan? If you haven't yet, we'd suggest giving it a try. To do it, you can locate the queue by following the steps in this article. There, look for the Clear queue button and select it to see if you notice any difference.

 

If the above doesn't do the trick, would you mind sending us the make/model and OS of the affected device, along with the Spotify version you're running there? 

 

Lastly, did you notice if this started to happen after a specific event such as an OS update? If yes, please send us the details. It'd be great if you send us a short video recording of what's happening, so we can better visualize what you're mentioning. You can attach the video in your next reply in mp4 format, or you can also upload it to YouTube or Google drive and make it public, so we can watch it.
