Songs downloaded from Spotify changing version when added to iTunes

Songs downloaded from Spotify changing version when added to iTunes

Device: iPod shuffle gen 6

I work in a private sector government job and my job Allows us to listen to music but we aren’t allowed anything with Bluetooth or cameras. So I am forced to use my old iPod shuffle. My question is, I use a converter to download my songs off Spotify too add to my iTunes library but whenever I upload the songs to my  iTunes library, it is always different versions of the songs that I had downloaded.. specifically added the “clean” version of songs even though I added the regular version. I tried to turn off the explicit settings and what not and nothing has worked. It’s really annoying. Is there a way to bypass this so that the version of the songs I download and choose are the exact ones being uploaded?
