Songs skipping constantly

I've just upgraded to premium and now every song I try and play with my iphone6 Spotify app skips every second and jumps forward ten seconds??!

I'm not in any way technically minded, so if anyone can shed any simplified light on this it would be much appreciated, or I'm going to have to cancel straight away!

I have had premium for a long time and never had this problem until a couple weeks ago. It is SO FRUSTRATING! I can't find a way to just contact Spotify for help which is equally as frustrating, like they're avoiding helping. Anyway, if anyone can help it would  be appreciated. My songs constantly skip or pause, like every 5-10 seconds sometimes!!! It's making me not even want to use Spotify even though I've used it for years now.
