Spotify Application Sitting in "Waiiting" status

I am on iOS7 with an iphone 5. As of yesterday, my spotify application quit working. It now just says "waiting" underneat the application. I can't launch it or remove it. I have tried rebooting several times with no luck. Please advise.

Make sure to check your inbox and junk folder for an email from Spotify. Once you get it, make sure to reply back right away, even if it says it's from a "no-reply" email.

Hey @armoses did you have any success with this? When you hold down the apps you aren't able to delete it and try a clean reinstallation?

When you go to the App Store > Updates is there an option to update Spotify?
