Spotify BMW integration - Search function

Hi.

I was wondering if anyone had a chance to test the latest BMW/Spotify app version.

From what they states on bmw site, "search" is now available:

http://www.bmw.com/com/en/owners/bmw_apps_2013/apps/spotify/index.html

"From now on, you can also use the app quite conveniently in your BMW and search for your favourite tracks in various ways, such as by categories or genres, artists, titles or albums or also by labels or year of release. Spotify Radio is also available for you in your vehicle."

The thing i can't achieve is what this search function let you actually search for: personal playlist/music offline or also online libraries?

I'm considering to purchase BMW connected drive services with include Spotify and i consider this function very important.

I also had a look to some posts in this forum and this function seemd to be in progress, howeever BMW site states the opposite.

Any help appreciated.

I've only recently seen the search option appear, which presumably happened in the past few weeks, with an update to the Spotify iOS app.

However, I can't actually get the search to work. It clearly supposed to search for album, artist or track, but I get nonsense results. As I start punching in the letters, the results are way off what I'm looking for, but the more letters type, right up to an exact match, I just get nonsense. It must be a bug, this works perfectly in the deezer integration

I've searched to try and find others reporting this behaviour, but this is the first reference to this new feature that i can find.
