Spotify Loses My Spot

Device: Iphone 14 Pro Max

When I play music through my AirPods Pro (Version 5859) and I pause it or put my AirPods Pro in the charging case, Spotify will lose the place of my current song i.e. I have to go back into Spotify and start the song over/playlist over. It's almost like I have to restart the app. 

This is just not a iPhone 14 Pro Max issue as my iPhone 12 Pro Max also started doing it toward the end of my ownership of it. My iPhone 14 is less than a week old and has the updated OS and apps so what is wrong?

This sounds like an Ongoing Issue affecting many Spotify users. Could you please read this post and verify if it's the same problem or not?
