Spotify Running Issue

I've had Spotify premium for about a year now on my iPod Touch. I've heard about the Spotify Running app, and have had different updates come up for it. But the feature hasn't been implemented to the app on my iPod yet. I'm curious if maybe it is because it's an iTouch or it's just a glitch in the system (i've read different posts that it isn't working for some people). Any help?
