Spotify closes

Solved!

Spotify closes

When I start spotify on my iPad, spotify closes itself after just a few seconds. I have upgraded spotify several times, I have also reinstall spotify but without success. What should I do...?

Is it possible to try another account (need a friend with premium!) just to see if its confined to yours?

Since its pretty much confirmed to be an account issue that is as far as community support can go I'm afraid. If you could get in touch with the Spotify support team directly (sorry to force a change in support channel here!) using the online contact form and they will be able to investigate this a little closer for you. If you include a link to this thread the team can see all the things we have tried already too!

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hi,  best to close down all apps running and then start Spotify.

Check what version of Spotify you have and then go back to the release notes and report this problem - if it is still happening.

Have you tried rebooting your iPad?

If you do post, it's also good to mention what version of iOS you have, what model iPad you're using and if it's jailbroken, or not.

I have tried it all, but it doesnt work. I have iPad 4 with all new uppdates iOS 7.03.....

WORK AROUND!!!  I had a spotify that would launch, try to pull my preferences, music cache, ect...

The way I got mine to work was logging out.  When launching Spotify I could barely hit the drop down, trying to give it a different process instead of what was making it crash.  The hot key combo to log out of spotify is:     Command+option+shift+w

This logged me out, and reset/canceled/refreshed...ultimately letting me log in and listen to tunes.

I had tried reinstalling, restarting, different internet networks...Hope this Helps!!
