Spotify connect doesn't work with family accounts?

Spotify connect doesn't work with family accounts?

I've just moved from premium to family account, and suddenly I cannot use Spotify with my Heos system. I have restarted everything, etc.
Anyone experiencing the same issue?

Thanks for reaching out to the Spotify Community. Can you let us know what device, operating system, and version of Spotify you're using?

 

Could you also give us a brief description of the issue and let us know if you're following any particular steps before the app stops working?

have the same issue with spotify running the primary account on a mac mini running mountian lion and sub account on iPhone 6+ running iOS9

 

 

I faced the same problem... 

 

Here's my solution - now it works -

1) go to the account site and enter the correct Postal Code of the main premium family account, save changes

2) reinstall the spotify app, log into your device

3) now it works with connect!
