Spotify for IOS keeps shutting down

Hello,

I have been facing this issue with spotify - premium account - always shutting down just one minute after i turn it on. It's been happening for months and even after getting it updates multiple times the issue is still not fixed. I read somewhere that i would have to go offline for it to work - even though that would defeat the purpose of having a spotify account - and it still wouldn't stay open for more than two or so minutes. I tried keeping the app open as i listen to music, but it still crashes, i tried locking my phone as the app is running and it crashes even sooner. I have no issues with the desktop version on Mac or even PC, it's just my phone. Please help me find a soloution for this as it's very frustrating. Spotify is my only source of music.

That's odd. Can you let us know what device/operating system and Spotify version you're currently using? On the other hand, could you check how much free space do you have available on your phone? Also, do you have other apps running in the background when this happens? 

We'll see what we can suggest.
