Spotify in German????

I have an iPhone 6 and just downloaded the Spotify app. For some reason it's in German. German commercials, too many European song suggestions and not enough indie us music. Also loads of playlists show up in German, lots of trance and just stuff I don't listen to, at all!
How can I get the us version of Spotify?

Is your IP address located in Germany?

And be sure, that your country is correctly in your profile you can check it here.

Hi @Teisharocz, I understand that you're having some slight issues with getting the American version of Spotify. There is one or two things you can do to change this within minutes. 

Firstly, go ahead and delete the application off your phone. You've downloaded a German version of Spotify. The reason why you may have done this is because you may be using the German Apple App Store without even realising it. What you need to do is open the App Store, scroll to the bottom and go onto your Apple id. Tap in your password and select 'Country/Region' and change it to the nationality you would like.

While doing so, go to your settings on your iPhone. Select General < Language & Region then select your region.  

Having done this, you can re-download Spotify and listen to your favourite indie music.

Oh my, thank you soooooo much! Strange though, it won't let me change regions cuz I bought a Walking Dead Season 7 pass and it's not over yet. Gotta wait until the season is over.... so freaking weird!!!!
