Spotify is playing the wrong song in carplay

After the recent update of the spotify app on my iphone (to version 7.5.0), carplay is not playing the song that I select but a different song from the same album, I am in. It is like using shuffle but it is always selecting the same other song when I return to the list and select the desired song again. When I use the app on the phone to select the song, everything works as expected.
