Spotify is using data with downloaded playlists.

So i noticed that spotify app consumed 4,5gb of data in only a week, so i refreshed the data counter and play 3 hours of downloaded songs to see that it consumed 592mb. What could be happening? I also saw that even with downloaded stuff the album picture if i disable the data it doesnt appear, but if i turn it on the album cover appears, it coud be that all that data was for downloading the album covers?

Probably that's because of album artworks. IIRC they're downloading every time you listen to the song that wasn't cached before. Also, this could be data from using Facebook and Last.fm connection.
