My Question or Issue

My Spotify lyrics haven’t been working for any songs. It’s been like this for a few weeks now (3+ weeks) and I’m getting frustrated. When I go to where the lyrics would usually be, it only gives info about the artist and possible merch. I’ve tried almost everything to fix it. Full restart, removing cache, logging out logging back in twice,  deleting the app and redownloading, powering off and powering back on my phone, but nothings working, I don’t know what to do now.

I currently have the same issue on Android.

Pretty much giving up at this point and assuming it's by design. 

Maybe a contract ran out or something

Yeah, I don’t know what’s wrong but I’m almost giving up. I’m still going to use Spotify but I’m missing the lyrics

I was starting to think it was a tricky way to get premium subscribers ( locking lyrics). 

I hope it's a bug in the app

I wonder if people get premium that had the problem before got the lyrics working after they bought it…but yeah I hope it’s just a bug and that it’ll get fixed soon. Every update hasn’t been fixing it sadly 😕

Even if the lyrics are available when I click the now playing tab and scroll for the lyrics I am unable to find them. I tried logging out and even reinstalled the app but it is still not working.

Previously, my spotify always had the lyrics, but for almost 2 months, my spotify doesn't come out with the lyrics, is there a solution?

When I use the app in my Android the lyrics option doesn't appear.

Ios tried to scroll down to find the lyrics of a song but one day it disappeared and showed nothing i had the lyrics to the song on spotify before it disappeared

I am having this same problem on Pixel 7 Pro/Android 13/Spotify app version 8.8.52.458. The lyrics won't show up in the Android app. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, creating a new account ... the problem persists.

Lyrics Not Showing

I have been experiencing this issue for a while now. The lyrics are nowhere to be found i have tried browsing the internet to fix this and yet nothing seems to work i tried logging in and out, restarting my phone, uninstalling several times. I tried to open another account in the same device and the lyrics works. i guess the problem is the account i am using if so is there any way i can fix this because lyrics is everything to me.
