Spotify on Carplay only works with Cellular Data on

My Question or Issue

Spotify no longer works with the Apple Carplay. It will not play when plugged in with cable. When not using Carplay and going through Bluetooth option it will show Spotify artist and song but will not play. My only option is to turn on Cellular Data and in both instances Spotify will play. I've never had to do this before now. I've cleared my Spotify cache. I do not have low battery mode selected. Spotify Data Saver is turned off.
